VV Reset: Day 3
Day 3 on the reset was great. We had an avocado in the fridge that was on the verge of going bad, so I skipped the smoothie and went for avo English muffin and strawberries. It was a beautiful breakfast.
So. good. I ran into the same "omg, it's 10 and I'm starving" problem again, so I reached for the almonds.
Almonds are a girl's best friend. I had another rice noodle salad and smoothie in the fridge, but my office started talking about Sky Modern Japanese for lunch, and I love that place.
I ordered a green tea because they make the best matcha. I haven't had green tea in weeks, and no caffeine this week at all, but it was delicious. I had a few bites of the edemame, but we split it at the table, so it was more like a little taste. Then, I had this beautiful house salad, topped with cucumbers and tarro chips. Yum!
My eyes were bigger than my stomach, because I also ordered this avocado roll and veggie roll. So yummy. I tackled it as best I could.
Josh and I went on a run when we got home from work, and all I could think about was a huge bowl of Brussels sprouts. So, I steamed some and served it with a huge dollop of hummus and a few pieces of leftover tempeh. I could eat a giant bowl of greens for dinner every night.
I reached out to my wonderful fellow bloggers from Finding Vegan, and they have supplied me with an amazing wealth of healthy recipes to share with you guys. So, look for that next week.
