Arbonne Detox Day 5, Skin Scrubbins

As skin is our largest organ, today I helped my "detox diet" along the way and went and got my skin scrubbed!  In October, I won a free microdermabrasion at Chenal Skin Care, and although I was a little hesitant because I like my skin, I went ahead with it today.  It wasn't scary at all.  In fact, my skin is feeling pretty good.

I started my morning off with strawberries, hemp milk and protein powder.  It was so yummy!  I like fruit in the morning and veggies at lunch.  I was super busy at work, so I didn't snack.  I did have some tea and take a minute to snap some pictures with my new lens.

Josh and I had to meet a wedding vendor at lunch, so I blended up a smoothie before I left.  I can't believe that two smoothies and some snacks are keeping me full all day long.

After the meeting and my skin scrubbins, I headed to the grocery store to stock up on tons of veggies then headed home.  I made some tea and hung out with Bodhi for awhile.

For dinner, I warmed up some crock pot soup from the other night and made a big salad.  The salad was yummy:  romaine, cucumber, celery, carrots, pecans topped with lemon, olive oil and dill.

It was a nice, relaxing Friday night.  I knew the weekend would be harder to resist drinking, but I'm feeling pretty good.  Hopefully the rest of the weekend will go as easily!


  1. Hi :) I just started my Arbonne journey! I just finished Day 2! When did you start to notice a change in numbers on your scale?

    1. Hi Shanna,

      I lost about 8 pounds in the first week, then I think it was more like 2 to 4 for the rest of the detox. I had quite a bit of weight to lose, though, but overall I lost about 18 pounds.

      Good luck on your journey! Even if you don't strictly stay with the Arbonne products, you'll learn a ton about healthy eating. :D
