Arbonne Detox Day 22, More Moroccan Chili

It's super cold here.  I'm sure all of you living in actual cold climates are scoffing at our 15 degrees (F), but it's cold weather with no snow, which makes me sad.  Luckily, I had this chili waiting for me in the fridge when I got home.

It was another day of smoothies at the office, which was great.  It's so easy to just blend up smoothies at work.  Breakfast was blueberries and chocolate, and lunch was a little different than last week.

Blackberry Basil Smoothie

2 scoops vegan protein powder
1/4 cup blackberries
3 big basil leaves
1 carrot (or 4 baby carrots)
2 cups mixed greens
1 tbs hemp seeds
2 cups water

I'm trying to experiment with new smoothie recipes, and this one was good!  I was a little apprehensive by the color, but don't let it throw you;  it was yummy.

I snacked on almonds and a fit chew to prepare for hot yoga, then I had an amazing practice at Barefoot.  Words cannot describe how happy I am to be back in a regular yoga practice.  It's great!

When I got home, I warmed up Moroccan chili from last night.  It was warm, creamy, and hit the spot.  All in all, I'm feeling pretty great on my last week of the detox, and I'm excited to keep going after.


  1. Oooh, I could so go for a bowl of that chili right now. I'm freezing! Our weather here is about the same as there. I can't imagine how people live in actual cold climates!!

    1. it really hit the spot! also, i'm now of the opinion that no chili should be had without cashew cream sauce on top. man, is that yummy!

      i love the cold, i'm just sooo not used to it anymore. if it's going to be under 30, it better be snowing! my skin is so dry it's insane!
