Packing Meals for Work

After our cabin retreat this weekend, the house didn't have a lot of groceries.  I still managed to put together some healthy office meals for today.

I woke up feeling very happy and festive today.  I love Christmas, from a completely love the songs and old stop animation cartoon sense.  I just like how everyone is a little more nice and happy this time of year.  Not everyone, I suppose, but most people make the effort.

My sister and I have decided to do an Arbonne 28 day detox, starting January 6th.  If you are interested yourself, let me know, and I can get you in contact with our product rep.  We're really excited, and I think it's going to be fun.

Tonight is our office Christmas party at Capers.  I probably won't have great pictures, and I'm not sure of my dining options, but I'll try to give you a recap tomorrow.

  1. Fabulous! I'm a vegan loosing weight myself and this tip is great. Good thing you still eating fat, a good fat though. I'm only having avocado fat, almonds only in the form of milk.
    Wish you good luck with it but you seen so thin :D Cheers.

  2. I personally follow a low fat diet (80% and more of my calories from carbs), as recommended by Dr.McDougall, Dr. Campbell, and Dr. Esselstyn. I recommend the book "Starch Solution' by Dr. McDougall which dispels the myths about carbohydrates, and help you stay lean & healthy for a lifetime <3 I know everyone's body is slightly different, but it's a really great read. I know many people who eat this type of starch based or fruit based diet, eating 2500+ calories and that are losing weight. Good Luck!

    1. thanks! i definitely want to follow a healthy diet with carbs included. i tried to come up with a "low carb vegan" way of eating, but it was super boring (although effective). i know i need to cut back on processed food and oils. i'm excited about adding much more whole foods into my diet. I will check out that book!
