Mini Blogging Break


So, today was kind of an "eat everything out of the fridge" day.  I'm leaving tomorrow for an architecture convention, so I'm trying to throw together my leftovers.  This morning, I wrapped up some risotto with avocado, lettuce and sriracha.


It was yummy.  I had planned on eating lunch at my desk, but opted to go eat with the office instead.  I'm glad I did. It is good every now and then to catch up and see what's going on with everyone, especially since I'll be out most of this week at convention.  We headed to Izzy's, and I had a veggie melt (minus cheese) with sweet potato fries.




I spent the rest of the afternoon scrambling to finish code studies and wall sections and all that other architecture fun.  When I got home, I needed to find more stuff in the fridge that would go bad after I left.  Luckily,  I had some leftover eggplant taco meat, so I threw that together with some daiya and cabbage and edamame.  Dinner done.




Now, I'm off to pack for my trip.  I probably won't be blogging while I'm gone, but I'll be taking tons of pictures and having a good time.  I'm staying with my lovely friend, Devon, and I'm sure there will be lots of good food and workouts.  I'll be back on Sunday with a huge recap.  I hope everyone has a great week!
