Setting a Good Tone for the Summer

Today was one of those ideal eating/workout days that leaves you feeling fantastic.  Now, I am a bit backwards when it comes to summer.  When everyone is all happy and excited, I get very depressed.  Yet, in the winter, I am happy as a bundled up little clam.  I'm weird.

This summer, however, I'm optimistic.  I'm getting in shape, I'm feeling good about myself, and I have good feelings for what's to come.

I started the day with a walk with Josh, followed by protein powder + hemp milk and later tofu scramble + daiya and pumpkin seeds.  I am now a full believer in protein in the morning!

I had to run to Kroger and get a bunch of house stuff at lunch, so I just picked up a MASSIVE chef-on-the-run salad.  I did a bunch of spinach, cucumbers, olives, sunflower seeds, hot peppers and carrots.  Yum!  I topped it off with my goddess dressing back at the office.

After work, I headed to Barefoot for Hot Yoga with Breezy.  I haven't been to a hot yoga class in a couple weeks, and it kicked my butt.  It felt really good, but I sweated so much I got a little dizzy.  I am starting to really tell a difference in my plank and balance poses.  Yay yoga!

After yoga, I was starving, so I snacked on these chickpeas from my Vegan Cuts box.  I had those and watched Mad Men, and eventually I made a huge salad with shredded raw zucchini, spinach, olives and pumpkin seeds.  There were also 2 Michelob ultras that weren't pictured, but hey, it's summer and it's hot outside.

My sister has agreed to do Body Revolution with me after work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so starting next week, we're back on Jillian's program.  I decided that Tuesday/Thursday mornings would be a good time to hop on the bike trainer and get my legs ready for bike riding.  So, I set it up in my office.

I'm feeling really positive these days, even with my setback Friday.  No negativity!  It's poison.

  1. I know there will be many difficulties and challenges but I am determined to do it. If it does not succeed then it will be a lesson for me as well

  2. The larger concern again is not the sheer availability of Breitling, but rather the unknowing consumer accidentally buying one Breitling watches,eBay in the past was littered with, but that is no longer the case. There are probably Replica Valentino Handbagsmasquerading as the real thing in eBay's auction listings from time to time, but they are less common than they used to be. Above I mentioned that in virtually all instances you won't find Valentino handbags sold via legitimate bags retailers.

I'd love to hear from you!
