Weekend Photos and Monday Recap

I had a great weekend.  There was a lot of eating, a lot of reading, and a lot of doing nothing.  I caught up on the 2nd season of girls while starting my seeds indoors.  I know it's late, but it's better than nothing, and a lot of the plants I started are for hot weather anyway.  Here's just a snap shot of the weekend.

Monday started off well.  Josh and I got up to walk, and I had a protein drink and tofu scramble.

I was out of the office at a job site for the morning, so it's a good thing I brought my snacks!

I swung by Whole Foods on my way back to the office, but I just sat and ate it at my desk while I kept working.  I need to take more lunch breaks for me.

I caught the early hot yoga class and made it home in time to read Game of Thrones in the bathtub and watch the new episode of Mad Men.  I didn't realize I was so hungry, so I actually had TWO servings of this salad.  It's baby bellas, avocado, pumpkin seeds, spinach and goddess dressing.

All in all, it was a good day.  I'm REALLY excited that I'm getting so much protein back into my diet.  I feel strong and healthy!

  1. This is Des - cool blog and photos! Have you seen this website: http://nutritiondata.self.com
You can enter in any type of food, and it puts it into a protein/carb/fat pyramid. It's a nice visual aid so you can instantly see the ratio.
